PESHAWAR: Local bodies election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be held on May 30 where 84420 candidates would be vying for over 41,000 seats.
More than 11,000 polling stations have been setup for the election. According to Geo News Election Cell the election would be non-party basis for 39800 seats of Village and Muhall Councils.

17,000 special seats have been allocated for women, laborers, peasants, youth and minorities.
39000 candidates are contesting for 23111 seats for general Councilors while over 7680 candidates are competing for seats allocated for women.
At least 2000 wards of district and Tehsil councils have been formed where election would be contested on party basis.
