Shahbaz Sharif orders crackdown against Faisalabad drug peddlers
LAHORE: Taking notice of a Geo News report into open sale and consumption of drugs in Faisalabad, Punjab Chief Minister has ordered an indiscriminate crackdown against drug peddlers.
The chief minister said the elements involved in drug trafficking deserve no concession as they were destroying young generation.
Shahbaz Sharif has also sought a report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Faisalabad.

Earlier, residents of Mubina Town, Ghulam Abad, Raza Abad, Nishatabad and other areas said Police and the Anti Narcotics Force have turned a blind eye to the drug business that was now prevalent in every nook and corner of the city.
