Six suspects including four terrorists killed in CTD encounter in Karachi
KARACHI: Six suspects including four terrorists involved in the Wagah border blast were killed during an encounter by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) late on Thursday and early Friday in Karachi’s Baldia Ittehad Town and Manghopir areas.
CTD officers conducted a raid after receiving information from the intelligence department. The terrorists belonged to the banned organisation, Umar Khorasani group.

KARACHI: Six suspects including four terrorists involved in the Wagah border blast were killed during an encounter by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) late on Thursday and early Friday in Karachi’s Baldia Ittehad Town and Manghopir areas.
CTD officers conducted a raid after receiving information from the intelligence department. The terrorists belonged to the banned organisation, Umar Khorasani group.
According to sources, an exchange of fire occurred between the officers and terrorists due to which four suspects were arrested in injured condition. The suspects succumbed to their injuries while being shifted to the hospital.
One CTD officer was also injured in the encounter.
A huge amount of ammunition and explosives were found in possession of the terrorists.
Meanwhile, Rangers took eight suspects into custody during various raids conducted in the city.
