Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad arrives in Pakistan
Ministry’s spokesman Imran Siddique said Imam-e-Kaaba will lead Juma prayers in Faisal Mosque and also attend a seminar of International Islamic University.
ISLAMABAD: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany arrived in Islamabad here on a seven days visit on Thursday.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Tahir Ashrafi welcomed the distinguished guest.
Ministry’s spokesman Imran Siddique said Imam-e-Kaaba will lead Juma prayers in Faisal Mosque and also attend a seminar of International Islamic University.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has arranged a dinner in honour of the distinguish guest.
The Imam would attend Paigham-e-Pakistan conference on April 13 and 14. He will meet the leadership of Pakistan, Ulemas and scholars.
The Imam will also visit Badshahi Mosque, Lahore and lead prayers there.
