A.R Rahman turns producer, writer with film ‘99 Songs’

AR Rahman, the 52-year-old music maestro took to Twitter saying “I am very excited to announce the release of my very first film as a Producer and Writer, ’99 Songs’, a young, passanate love story with music as its soul.”

MUMBAI: Oscar-winning music composer A.R Rahman on Thursday announced the release of his very first film as producer and writer with ’99 Songs’.

AR Rahman, the 52-year-old music maestro took to Twitter saying “I am very excited to announce the release of my very first film as a Producer and Writer, ’99 Songs’, a young, passanate love story with music as its soul.”

“My production company is thrilled to have Jio Studies as a partner on this really special venture.”

’99 Songs will be rleased in cinemas worldwide in three languages Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 21st June 2019,” the Oscar-winning music composer announced.

A.R Rahman thanked everyone for the love, support and encouragement showered on him.
