PTV MD Arshad Khan removed
Director Admin of the state-run TV, Hassan Ammad Muhammadi has been given the additional charge of the PTV.
ISLAMABAD: The government on Thursday removed the Managing Director of Pakistan Television (PTV), Arshad Khan.
According to Geo News, Colonel (retd) Hassan given additional charge of Acting PTV MD.
The ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued a notification for appointment of Col Hassan as acting MD, who has been performing duties as deputy PTV MD.
A notification has also been issued to revoke the orders of Arshad Khan's appointment as PTV MD.
Post of PTV MD has already been advertised for which 42 applications have been received so far, according to Associated Press of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Federal Information Minister held a meeting with President Arif Alvi.
Affairs and performance of information ministry came under discussion during the meeting, Geo TV reported.
