HYDERABAD: A Punjab bound Bahauddin Zakariya Express derailed at Mehrabpur Junction railway station late on Wednesday.
According to Railways official, the train was on its way from Karachi to Multan when it derailed at Mehrabpur after its brakes failed, the engine hit a protective boundary and stopped, fortunately, there was no casualty except that all the down track railway traffic went suspended for a while.
The relief train from Paduden arrived at the scene of incident for installing back the derailed train on the track.
