ISLAMABAD: Met office Tuesday forecast hot and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
However, dust thunderstorm/light rain with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, DI khan, DG khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Sukkur, Larkana, Rawalpindi divisions, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
According to synoptic situation, a fresh westerly wave is affecting western and upper parts of the country and may persist for next 24 hours.
During the last 24 hours, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country while dust-thunderstorm/rain occurred at isolated places in Kohat, Bannu and Quetta divisions.
Following rainfalls were recorded in millimeters during last 24 hrs:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Bannu 06, Parachinar 04.
Balochistan: Quetta 02.
The highest maximum temperatures were recorded as follow:
Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu 44°C, Sukkur, Sukrand 43°C, Mithi, Moenjo Daro, Tandojam, Chhor 42°C.
Islambad 32°C, Peshawar 34°C , Lahore 36°C.
