Military awards conferred to army personnel for their services to Pakistan
As per the press release, Tamgha-i-Basalat was awarded to two officers and 24 Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and soldiers including 21 Shuhada while next-of-kins of the martyred soldiers received their awards posthumously.
RAWALPINDI: Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military), Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-i-Basalat were conferred on Army officers and soldiers on the occasion of Corps investiture ceremony of Rawalpindi Corps on Friday.
The event was graced by Commander Rawalpindi Corps, Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar, who was the chief guest for the evening which was also saw the presence of a large number of senior Army officers as well as the families of those getting bestowed with the prestigious awards at the ceremony.
As per the press release, Tamgha-i-Basalat was awarded to two officers and 24 Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and soldiers including 21 Shuhada while next-of-kins of the martyred soldiers received their awards posthumously.
On the other hand, 63 officers were awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and 85 officers were awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) for execution of admirable services for the country.
