ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s name was added to the Exit Control List (ECL) on Friday.
According to reports, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader’s name was added to ECL upon the appeal of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), and was also approved by the federal cabinet.
The ex-premier’s name was added in reference to the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) case where he along with a few others was accused of unlawfully giving LNG terminal contract for a 15-year period to a company of their own choice in defiance of the stated rules.
