Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday graced the ongoing Pakistan Tourism Summit aimed at opening new avenues of tourism in the country while highlighting the undiscovered potential the country possesses.
In his speech addressing the esteemed convention gathered at the summit that also included famed international travel bloggers, PM Imran said, "Pakistan has so much potential."
He added, “The beauty of Pakistan is that we have so many undiscovered areas," stating that if tourism is not regulated and laws are not made, these areas will suffer. “Right now, majority of the areas are untouched.”
Meanwhile, PM Imran also poked fun at Zulfi Bukhari, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, and Atif Khan, the current Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Tourism, Culture, Sports, Archaeology and Youth Affairs.
Taking a jibe at their ensemble, PM Imran addressing Atif Khan said, "I would like to congratulate you for organising such a massive conference."
"However I can't help but notice the way you and Zulfi Bukhari are dressed. It looks as if you both are promoting the tourism of South France, not Pakistan's," the premier added unleashing a wave of laughter from the audiences.
