Bilawal takes a jibe at Narendra Modi on Pak F-16 claims
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto took a dig at Indian PM Narednra Modi after US defence officials were reported to have counted the F-16s and found none missing.
KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday took a jibe at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after a Foreign Policy report debunked Indian claims that Pakistan’s F-16 was shot down.
US magazine, citing US defence officials, Thursday reported that the concerned authorities have done a counting of F-16s in Pakistan and found none missing.
"Oh dear how embarrassing @narendramodi if you are going to lie at least try something more believable?” Bilawal tweeted. “Everyone knows you guys can’t aim. When you lie you don’t hurt others, you hurt yourself. The great nation of India can do better. Its people deserve better.”
The damaging report has sent shockwaves in Indian government which had made tall claims to win the upcoming elections. The ruling party has been betting upon anti-Pakistan rhetoric to woo extremist voters.
Indian had claimed that it showdown a Pakistani aircraft during February 27 dogfight.
