Shehbaz Sharif's name removed from ECL
A divisional bench of the Lahore High Court had ordered the government to remove Sharif's name from the ECL after his lawyers said he was cooperating with investigators.

LAHORE: Name of Shehbaz Sharif, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, has been removed from the Exit Control List.
The Interior Ministry has also issued a notification in this regard.
According to Geo News, the former Punjab chief minister is soon likely to leave for London to meet his ailing granddaughter.
Shehbaz Sharif was put on the ECL after the federal cabinet gave approval to a recommendation of National Accountability (NAB) that was probing a case regarding assets beyond means.
