Petrol prices reach Rs100 after govt approves hike
As per reports, a Rs6 hike was approved by the government for a litre of petrol and a Rs3 increase per litre for high-speed diesel and kerosene oil after a summary was moved by the Oil and gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday.

ISLAMABAD: A hike of Rs6 was approved by the federal government in petroleum and high-speed diesel prices on Sunday.
As per reports, a Rs6 hike was approved by the government for a litre of petrol and a Rs3 increase per litre for high-speed diesel and kerosene oil after a summary was moved by the Oil and gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday.
The OGRA had demanded an increase of Rs11.92 per litre for petrol, Rs11.17 for diesel and Rs6.65 for kerosene oil.
After the hike the price for petroleum has reached Rs99.34 while the prices will come into effect from 12am tonight.
