KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan has been injured in a road accident near Karachi Toll Plaza in the wee hours of Sunday.
MQM leader Faisal Sabzwari has confirmed the reports that Khawaja Izhar and his bodyguard sustained injuries in road accident.

Sources said Khawaja Izhar was returning from Ghotki after meeting Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Khawaja Izhar sustained head injuries while his bodyguard is critically injured. Both have been rushed to a private hospital at Stadium Road.
Hospital sources said the condition of MQM leader is out of danger.
