Yesterday, the government teachers protesting outside Karachi Press Club, including females, were beaten and tear-gassed by the police. The police tried to stop the protesters' march towards the Chief Minister’s house.
According to the reports, the teachers protested against the government demanding basic employee rights and increase in their salaries. However, the peaceful protest turned into a battlefield as the police attempted charged baton and tear gas shells against the protesters to stop them from entering the red zone.
