A fleet, MoGas carrier LR-1 vessel, has been added to Pakistan’s new vessels, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf 's (PTI) Ali Zaidi said on Tuesday.
With this step towards self-reliance, Pakistan’s dependency on foreign vessels has minimized.
The ship named ‘Bolan’ will help Pakistan reduce its dependency on foreign vessels and save millions of dollars.
The federal minister of Maritime Affairs Pakistan said:
“It gives me great pleasure to inform the Pakistani nation that PNSC has added to its fleet a MoGas Carrier LR-1 vessel on March 25, 2019. The ship named Bolan will help reduce the dependency on foreign vessels & save millions of $’s in freight. Another step towards self reliance!”
In another tweet Zaidi also congratulated the chairman, the board and management of PNSC for successful acquisition:
“I congratulate Chairman, the board & management of PNSC for this successful acquisition. Inshallah another vessel will be added to the PNSC fleet before the end of Summer 2019.”
