Blast at Karachi CNG station leaves two dead , three injured
Blast at a CNG station in North Karachi took place in the compressor line which left at least two people dead, according to police and rescue sources.
KARACHI: A blast at a CNG station in left two people dead and three others injured on Sunday..
The explosion took place in the compressor line f the station in North Karachi, according to Geo News.
One of the dead has been identified as operator of the Compressor room while the injured included a manager of the fueling station.
Police were on the scene as Rescuers shifted the injured to hospitals.
Taking notice of the incident, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has sought report on when was the station last inspected bu the authorities concerned.
The chief directed the authorities to determine whether the compressor was expired or of low quality.
According to a spokesman, the chief minister has directed the hospitals to provide the best treatment to the injured.
The dead were moved to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
