QUETTA Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed donned military uniform as the champion visited Quetta to attend a ceremony held in team's honor, days after lifting the trophy in Karachi.
Quetta Gladiators had defeated Peshawar Zalmi in the final of Pakistan Super League (PSP) to win the title for the first time.
The official Twitter account of Gladiators posted pictures of the event which was attended by Commander of Southern Command Lt.Gen Asim Bajaw, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan and others. Sarfraz also wore a military cap along with the camouflage jacket while posing for picture.
In the ceremony, the chief minister pledged to hold one of the matches of the next Pakistan Super League in Quetta.
He applauded the Quetta Gladiators over their win brought much awaited jubilation to the country's south western province.
