LAHORE: A spectacular display of fireworks was observed at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore at midnight of Saturday to mark Pakistan Day celebrations.
The fireworks display lit up the sky, reflecting the patriotic spirit of the historic city. A huge number of citizens flocked to Minar-e-Pakistan to view it.
Pakistan Day is celebrated every year on March 23 to commemorate the adoption of the Lahore Resolution in 1940.
The traditional military parade which is hallmark of the celebration would be held in Islamabad.
