ISLAMABAD: Ahead of the highly-anticipated ceremony of Pakistan Civil Awards, famed Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has in a recent picture come forth shutting up trolls, as she landed at Islamabad airport unfazed by all the staunch criticism, on Friday.
The Load Wedding starlet posted a picture of herself on Twitter in which she is seen posing to the camera at the passenger boarding bridge holding a book by Fatima Bhutto in hand.
Thanking Allah for this blessing, Mehwish wrote: "Landed in isloo.. living my dream. Thank you Allah mian!!!
Mehwish arrived in style sporting a plain black tee and ribbed jeans with rose gold aviators. She completed her look with black sneakers.
The 36-year-old artist has recently been receiving a lot of backlash by people who are criticising her for not having done enough to be receiving Tamgha-i-Imtiaz - the fourth-highest honorary award given to any civilian in Pakistan based on their achievements.
Mehwish will be conferred with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz on Pakistan Day.
