KARACHI: An endearing video of Municipal Minister of Sindh Saeed Ghani’s son weeping on Peshawar Zalmi’s defeat against Quetta Gladiators during Pakistan Super League final on Sunday is doing the rounds on the internet lately.
In this high voltage game of PSL final the interest and passion of the viewers was touching the skies.
However, Zalmi's defeat left many fans heartbroken, including Senator Saeed Ghani's son Usman.
When Peshawar Zalmi lost the match by eight wickets, the young boy started crying and he was captured on video as his dad tried to make him understand that it’s just a game and that he should enjoy it. He also mentioned that he’s supporting Quetta Gladiators but his son is a supporter of team Zalmi.
On Sunday, the rousing match saw Quetta Gladiators lifting the trophy after they defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 8 wickets. Both teams had reached the finale for the third time over the previous series.
Meanwhile, the game was well attended by eminent personalities that included President of Pakistan Arif Alvi, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Director-General of Inter-Services Asif Ghafoor , Minister of State for Interior Sheheryar Afridi, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah, DG rangers, International Cricket Council’s CEO David Richardson, Chairman People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other important personalities.
According to reports, the crowd amount to a staggering total of 35,000 spectators.
