KARACHI: Recalling Pakistan-India war in Kargil, former military strongman General (retd) Pervez Musharraf on Sunday said the neighbouring country would never be able to forget the battle as his armed forces had 'grabbed India by throat'.
There was a second line force too which caught India by throat and that was latter given the status of army,” said he while addressing a ceremony of his All Pakistan Muslim League (APML).
“We entered Kargil from four points of which India was not aware,” he said, adding that New Delhi will also remember the battle of Kargil.
Speaking about killing of members of Ismail community in a bus attack in Karachi, the former army chief said he had telephoned Prince Karim Agha Khan to condemn the incident.
Speaking on the occasion, he also announced that his political party will take part in upcoming local bodies election in the country.
