HUNZA: The traditional festival of Tukhm rezi started recently in Hunza valley is being celebrated in full swing with the arrival of spring.
In winter seasons the temperature of Hunza valley falls to -10 degrees due to which the living system more often than not paralyses there.

After the winter season passes there the local people celebrate the blossoming of spring with great enthusiasm.
'Tukhm rezi' is a centuries' old agricultural festival. The people dressed in traditional dresses greet each other, old age people with sowing of seeds starts the farming season and together they pray for happiness in this year and ploughing of good crop.
On this occasion females cook traditional food which is eaten by all the family members together.
