Punjab to award govt contracts via E-tendering, says CM Usman Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has announced that in the next fiscal year, all the government contracts will be awarded via E-tendering to ensure transparency.
Usman Buzdar said this on his Twitter post here on Tuesday.
He says “In the next fiscal year, all the Govt contracts will be awarded via E-tendering, ensuring transparency which will help eliminate the deep rooted corruption.”
“Every step taken by Punjab government is for the welfare of the public,” the chief minister said.
Usman Buzdar went on to say “We intend to protect each and every penny of our taxpayers.”
