Maryam Nawaz thanked Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for meeting ailing former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Kot Lakhpat jail.

LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz has thanked Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for meeting Nawaz Sharif at Kot Lakhpat jail.
Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter shortly after Bilawal held meeting with Nawaz Sharif, saying “Thank you very much Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for your thoughtfulness & kind gesture. Means a lot to me. Prayers and every good wish. God bless.”
Bilawal Bhutto has said that Nawaz Sharif should be given the best medical care as he was very sick and needed urgent treatment.
The PPP chairman was talking to the media after meeting the elder Sharif, who is suffering from cardiac ailment, at Kot Lakhpat jail to inquire about his health.
The meeting continued for an hour between the two leaders.
