PSL 2019: Highest Wicket-taker In Pakistan Super League
Faheem Ashraf of Islamabad United rules the PSL points table with 19 wickets, whiel Hasan Ali of Peshawar Zalmi stays at second with 18 wickets.
KARACHI: The highest wicket-taker in the Pakistan Super League 2019 is now medium-pacer Faheem Ashraf of Islamabad United, who has snatched the first position from medium-fast bowler Hasan Ali of Peshawar Zalmi. He captured six wickets for just 19 runs against Lahore Qalandars at Karachi on Saturday.
This is the best bowling performance by any bowler in PSL. Faheem has taken 19 wickets at an average of 13.36 with two hauls of four or more wickets in an innings.
Hasan Ali of Peshawar Zalmi has come second with 18 wickets at an average of 12.72 in nine matches. He has taken four wickets in an innings on three occasions which is also the most by any bowler in the tournament. His best bowling was four for 15, which he performed twice.
Left-arm pacer Sohail Tanvir comes third with 15 wickets (ave 17.66) in 10 matches. His best bowling performance is 4/21, which is his only four-wicket haul so far.
The fourth place goes to 19-year-old left-arm spinner Umer Khan of Karachi Kings, claiming 13 wickets in nine matches with an average of 13.92.
While 18-year-old leg-spinner from Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane (Lahore Qalandars) has come down to fifth place with 11 wickets at an average of 14.63.
Usman Shenwari of Karachi Kings, Medium-fast bowler Haris Rauf of Lahore Qalandars, left-arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz of Peshawar Zalmi and Mohammad Nawaz of Quetta Gladiators also claimed 11 wickets in PSL 2019 sofar with an average of 19.81, 21.63, 22.63 and 26.72 respectively.
Left-arm pacer Rahat Ali of Lahore Qalandars captures 10th place with an average of 17.60 in seven matches.
