5 killed, one injured after lift falls at under-construction building in Karachi
As per reports, the trolley lift carrying six labourers transporting glass sheets fell from the 11th floor, killing five of the workers while leaving one critically injured at Boat Basin.

KARACHI: Five labourers lost their lives after a trolley lift fell at the site of a building under construction at the city’s Boat Basin area.
As per reports, the trolley lift carrying six labourers transporting glass sheets fell from the 11th floor, killing five of the workers while leaving one critically injured at Boat Basin.
While three of the dead bodies and the injured have been shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) the remaining two bodies were moved to Civil Hospital.
The injured labourer was told to be in a severely critical condition, as revealed by JPMC Executive Director.
The matter is presently being investigated further by the police, revealed South SSP Pir Muhammad Shah.
