KALLAR SYEDAN: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said the aim of terrorists was to paralyse and divide the nation.
Nisar held a news conference here on Saturday in which he spoke of the demand for Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah resigning. Nisar said when such demands are made after terrorist attacks it fulfills the purpose of terrorists.
“We need to understand that terrorist attacks are carried out to divide and break the resolve of the nation. I am not speaking in support of the chief ministers but nowhere in the world are resignations demanded on the basis of terrorist attacks,” Nisar said.
The interior minister spoke of the resolve to fight till the last terrorist was eliminated. He added that the war against terrorism would be won at all costs.
Nisar emphasised that it was the responsibility of the entire nation and political parties to give a clear message of unity to defeat terrorists.
Without naming the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the interior minister said there was a party which was not political but was rather a fan club. “It is wrong to expect politics from a fan club.”
