QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Thursday said women and men have equal rights in social, development, political and economic in a massage connection with World Women Day.
He said it was not possible for sustainable development and prosperity without contribution of women in political and economic, said press release issued here.
Governor Balochistan said women are seen very respectfully in Pashtun and Baloch tribes and lifting hands on women is not allowed in our national traditions and Islamic values.
“There is no lack of capabilities in Balochistan’s women, but scarcity of limited resources hurdled them”, he said.
He expressed satisfaction over performance of women that they are gradually moving towards development in different departments including health, education and sports sectors which is a positive sign.
He expected our women would play their role in development of nation and country within social and cultural values.
