Nawaz Sharif’s mother, Shahbaz, Maryam visit Kot Lakhpat Jail
Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Punjab government to provide former prime minister Nawaz Sharif the best media facilities.
LAHORE: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif along with his mother and daughter of his brother Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz visited Kot Lakhpat Jail here on Thursday.
They inquired about the health of Nawaz Sharif and tried to convince him to get medical treatment from the hospital.
A number of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) workers were present outside the jail.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Punjab government to provide former prime minister Nawaz Sharif the best media facilities.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter to share the PM Imran Khan’s directives.
“PM Imran Khan directed Punjab government to shift Nawaz Sharif to any hospital of his choice or provide him facility of the doctor he wants,” said the minister.
Imran Khan also directed the provincial government to fully implement on the recommendations made by the medical board over the health of Nawaz Sharif, Fawad Chaudhry said. (Web Desk/APP)
