#PakistanZindabad trends worldwide on Twitter

Following the escalation in border tensions with India, Pakistani forces are being applauded on social media with the hashtag #PakistanArmyZindabad becoming the number one trend worldwide on Wednesday.

After Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two Indian fighter jets in the country’s airspace, the public has been lauding the forces for its timely response and for sending a strong message of retaliation and self-defense across the border.

Out of the ten worldwide trends on Twitter, seven were related to the incident that unfolded this morning while #PakistanZindabad remained the top trend throughout where netizens on this side of the world were full of praises for the armed forces of Pakistan with memes pouring in.

On the other hand #PakistanStrikesBack, #SayNoToWar and #PakistanAirForceOurPride also topped the charts globally.
