Supermodel Iman Ali is married now!
Iman Ali hosted her mehndi, nikah and reception together in an event that saw the likes of industry bigwigs like singers Umair Jaswal, Ali Zafar, Farhan Saeed and actresses Sarwat Gillani, Urwa Hocane as well as renowned fashion designer HSY.
LAHORE: Supermodel Iman Ali on Thursday tied the knot with beau Babar Bhatti in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.
The 'Khuda Kay Liye' starlet hosted her mehndi, nikah and reception together in an event that saw the likes of industry bigwigs including Umair Jaswal, Ali Zafar, Farhan Saeed, Sarwat Gillani, Urwa Hocane as well as renowned fashion designer HSY.
The festivities began with a nikah ceremony in which the bride and groom were showered with blessings and prayers on the start of their new life.
Iman's alimony (haq mehr) was set at Rs2.5 million.
The nikah was followed by a glitzy mehndi festivity.
Urwa Hocane and husband Farhan Saeed performed at Iman's mehndi, after which the bride and groom also danced with their friends.
On the occasion, Iman was clad in a traditional yellow ensemble, while groom Babar Bhatti donned a white sherwani.
Iman Ali is the daughter of celebrated Pakistani actor Abid Ali and her mother Humaira Ali is also a known face from the industry. Iman started her journey of stardom with modelling and later acted in blockbuster movies like 'Khuda Kay Liye', 'Bol' and 'Mah-e-Mir'.
Her husband belongs to the family of Major Aziz Bhatti, who received Nishan-e-Haider (the highest award for valour in the country) for attaining martyrdom during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965.
