Rameez Raja reminisces Pak's winning moments under PM Imran's captaincy
Raja shared a nostalgic tweet in which he expressed his feeling about 'Pakistan's great story under Imran' at the same venue.
SHARJAH: Former cricket stalwart Rameez Raja has recounted old memories of Pakistan bagging the victory title under Prime Minister Imran Khan's captaincy.
Talking about Pakistan Super League shifting focus to Sharjah's 'iconic stadium', Raja shared a nostalgic tweet in which he expressed his feeling about 'Pakistan's great story under Imran' at the same venue.
He wrote: "PSL focus shifts to Sharjah’s iconic stadium . Am flooded with great memories of Pakistan’s great cricket story under Imran at this venue. We won 19 out of 25 matches under his captaincy."
Raja added that it was PM Imran's incredible leadership that led Pakistan to win 19 out of 25 matches under his captaincy.
It should be noted that Pakistan won ICC World Cup in 1992 under PM Imran's captaincy in which Raja was also an eminent part of the squad.
Meanwhile, Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will be playing each other today at 9-00 p.m. at Sharjah stadium as PSL's 9th fixture today.
