Federal Govt declares local holiday in Islamabad on Feb 18
February 18 is declared as local holiday within the revenue limits of Islamabad in lieu of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman's visit to the capital due tomorrow.
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued a notification in accordance with all Federal Government and Federal Secretariat offices situated on Constitution Avenue in Islamabad to remain closed on February 18, Monday.
In addition, the day has been been declared as local holiday 'within the revenue limits of Islamabad' in lieu of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman's visit to the capital due tomorrow, a tweet from Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said.
In this regard, schools, colleges and offices will remain closed, however, it should be further noted that the essential staff of the Ministries/Divisions/Departments will perform their duties as per routine.
Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince will be arriving in Islamabad for a two day visit scheduled Feb 17-18.
