ISLAMABAD: A day after Prime Minister Imran Khan's call for action over arrest of Dr Abdul Samad, Director of Archaeology , the National Accountability Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal has taken notice of the issue asking the Director General Khyber Paktunkhwa NAB to present the doctor before anti-graft body's headquarters in Islamabad along with details of allegations levelled against him.
Justice Javed Iqbal said the NAB values Dr Samad's services for the nation and will fulfill all the requirements to uphold his self respect.
Taking notice of a tweet lamenting the treatment meted out to Dr Samad, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday had urged the NAB chairman to intervene.
