Islamabad: US Ambassador to Pakistan Paul Jones called on Faisal Vawda, Federal Minister for Water Resources in Islamabad on Monday.
Faisal Vawda briefed the US Ambassador on the vision of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.
Bilateral cooperation in various fields including water resources was discussed during the meeting.
The Federal Minister said that PTI government policies have started delivering positive impact now.
“This is the best time to invest in Pakistan. PM Imran Khan’s Government has zero tolerance policy on corruption”, said the Federal Minister.
Pakistan is among the countries which could face severe water crisis in future hence there is a need to build water reservoirs in the country on emergency basis.
As per PM Imran Khan’s vision, construction of dams is among top priorities of the current government.
The nation has donated generously in the dams fund which shows their confidence in the government.
Ambassador Jones expressed his commitment to work with the Pakistan government and offered his full support towards a prosperous Pakistan.
