ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday that the ‘pre-scan’ report pertaining to rigging in NA-122 was given to him by the election tribunal not NADRA.
Khan spoke to reporters after the judicial commission formed to probe allegations of rigging in the 2013 general elections concluded its hearing for the day.
Khan said he had visited NADRA’s office to find out why there was a delay in the report and if there was any pressure.
“History is being made in Pakistan,” Khan said adding that any decision made by the judicial commission would be accepted.
Imran Khan’s clarification over the NA-122 ‘pre-scan’ report came after NADRA Chairman Usman Mubeen denied passing on any report or part thereof to the PTI chief.
Usman Mubeen had told reporters on Wednesday that the PTI chief had shown a document to the media which gave a false impression that he (Imran) was in possession of an official report.
