ECP completes scrutiny for GB Elections 2015
GIGIT BALTISTAN: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completed the process of scrutiny on the nominations of candidates in connection with the upcoming elections.
As many as 445 nominations were found meeting the criteria out of the total of 496 submitted for 24 seats of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) legislative assembly. Nominations of 51 candidates were rejected for one objection or another.

As many as 445 nominations were found meeting the criteria out of the total of 496 submitted for 24 seats of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) legislative assembly. Nominations of 51 candidates were rejected for one objection or another.
According to ECP sources, the reforms carried out in the voters lists resulted in the addition of 920 voters. Now the total number of listed voters for GB Elections 2015 stands at 618,225.
