Two political activists gunned down in Paposh Nagar
KARACHI: Unknown assailants on Tuesday gunned down two political activists in Paposh Nagar area of the megapolis.
Police has confirmed that the slain persons were affiliated with a political party.
The deceased identified as Muhammad Ashraf and Abdul Rehman had sustained wounds in an armed attack and later, succumbed to their injuries in a local hospital, police sources said.

Spokesman of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), has said that both the deceased were party workers and associated with its Sector Unit-189, Gulbahar.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain vehemently condemned the killings and termed the incident part of a well-planned conspiracy against his party.
