LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has stated that he will not resign as party chief even his office bearers perform their responsibilities with negligence.
In a statement issued here Saturday, Hussain vowed to continue his struggle till his last breath and lead the party from the front.
Altaf said hype was created following his address to MQM workers. “Orders are being issued to TV channels for banning my addresses,” he said.
He went on to say if authorities want to lodge a case against him under article 6 of the constitution and proscribe MQM they should go ahead. He said, “My relation with people is and will remain intact in future as well.”
