QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch on Friday said that chronic issues like poverty and illiteracy in the province can be eradicated through investment.
Speaking at an international investment conference here, he said Baloch were not as bad as being propagated.
By utilising massive land available in Balochistan, a development revolution can be brought, said CM Baloch. He vowed to provide ample security to investors investing in Quetta and the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Commander Southern Command Lt-General Nasir Janjua said Pakistan’s future was linked to progress in Balochistan, vowing that restoring peace in the province was their top priority.
Declaring the day as the most fortunate day of Balochistan’s history due to presence of investors in the provincial capital, he said situation was improving with the passage of each day.
