ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Thursday approved the Rs1.5 billion relief package for Ramzan.
The price of 18 essential food items such as sugar, wheat and ghee will be reduced at utility stores across the country from June 16.
According to sources the approval was given during the ECC meeting chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. The Ministry of Industries had sent Rs1.8 billion summary for the Ramzan package to the ECC.
