RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif addressed officers at Bahawalpur Cantt on Tuesday. In his address COAS paid tributes to the resilience, professionalism and sacrifices as seen in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
The COAS attributed the ongoing military operation as the reason stability was returning to the country as he emphasised that the focus could not be taken away from targeting terrorism in FATA.
Army chief General Raheel Sharif said no challenge was insurmountable as he told officers to take Pakistan forward. “Our greatest asset the youth should be encouraged,” he said.
COAS added that a peaceful environment in and around Pakistan was a top priority.
