ISLAMABAD: Heavy rain along with hailstorm hit Murree, Haripur, Astor and the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Monday.
All local and international flights going out of Islamabad were postponed while airplanes flying in to the Benazir Bhutto Airport were diverted to other cities.

ISLAMABAD: Heavy rain along with hailstorm hit Murree, Haripur, Astor and the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Monday.
All local and international flights going out of Islamabad were postponed while airplanes flying in to the Benazir Bhutto Airport were diverted to other cities.
Rain and hailstorm continued intermittently in the twin cities, while heavy downpour and strong winds damaged billboards and electricity poles in Haripur.
The weather department says the episode is expected to continue in the country's northern areas until the afternoon.
