Interior minister recommends govt to shut down FIA
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday said that if the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cannot apprehend the big fish then it should surrender its powers.
While chairing a meeting of the ministry with regards to the FIA, Nisar recommended the government to shut down the FIA.

While chairing a meeting of the ministry with regards to the FIA, Nisar recommended the government to shut down the FIA.
The interior minister went on to say that inquiry of cases are changed without his permission.
He also questioned why 64 corrupt officers of the FIA were posted at high designations.
The meeting was also attended by the Interior Ministry Secretary, DG FIA, as well as other officials.
