KARACHI: Special passes have been issued to the polling staff to be deployed in NA-246 constituency for the by election on coming Thursday while for the first time in Pakistan’s history installation of CCTV cameras has also been completed.
The surveillance cameras were installed on the request of the Sindh Rangers, while the pillion riding has also been banned for three days in the port city ahead of NA-246 by-polls with effect from12 AM Wednesday.
The heavyweights contesting the by-polls from NA-246 are: Kanwar Naveed Jamil of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Imran Ismail of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Rashid Naseem of Jamaat-e-Islami.
