KARACHI: The Balochistan government has declared August 21 to 24 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) as public Holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha to be observed by all in the province.
Sindh has earlier announced four-day Eid holidays through a notification. The Federal Government was criticised by the people for ruining the festivities due to just 'two-day Eid leaves'.
Soon after the announcement, the social media was abuzz with fake a notification declaring Aug 24 as public holiday, however, the surprise was short-lived as the Interior Ministry denied issuing any such directive.
