MQM has held firm grip on Karachi for 24 years: Siraj
LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq Sunday said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) continues to usurp Karachi for the past 24 years.

LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq Sunday said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) continues to usurp Karachi for the past 24 years.
“And the metropolis kept marching towards degeneration in all these years,” Sirajul Haq said while interacting with media persons here at Mansoora, the Headqaurters of JI.
The JI Amir said the people of Karachi will have to decide now whether they want peace or terrorism in the provincial capital.
He said he would not waste a single second in thanking MQM if it goes ahead withdraws its candidate for NA-246 constituency.
Identifying fear as the biggest problem of Karachi, he vowed not to leave Karachi helpless.
The JI Amir said the only way to progress is through a peaceful democratic path.
