KARACHI: Unknown armed men stormed into a bank in Korangi area and walked away with hundreds of thousands rupees.
According to details, four bandits entered into a private bank in Unit 6 of Korangi area, took the security guards hostage on gun point and then fled with looted money.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Korangi Junaid Shaikh said initial reports suggest that the bank was robbed of Rs.250,000. However, the exact amount of money would be ascertained after the registration of FIR, he added.
It may be noted here that it was the fourth bank dacoity in Karachi in year 2015.
